Overview

Praxia [PRAX-ee-ah] takes its name from the ancient Greek πρᾶξις — the practical wisdom Aristotle described as the highest virtue of doctors, lawyers and regulated professionals. The app was previously released under the name Dexia. The internal identifier (com.dexia.app) has been retained so existing users keep their data and subscriptions.

Praxia is a professional diary and compliance tool designed for doctors, lawyers, and regulated professionals. We take your privacy seriously. Your professional data belongs to you.

Data Storage

All your events, expenses, meeting notes, and reflections are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Data is automatically backed up to your personal iCloud account — only you can access it.

Account & Authentication

We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. Your email address is stored securely and used only to identify your account. We do not share it with third parties.

Cloud Sync (Premium)

Premium subscribers may sync data across devices via Firebase Firestore. Your data is stored in Google's secure cloud infrastructure and is only accessible by you.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.

AI Features (Pro)

If you use the AI meeting note summarisation feature, note text is sent to OpenAI's API for processing. No data is stored by OpenAI beyond the immediate request. Do not include personally identifiable patient or client information in AI-processed notes.

Location & Maps

The mileage calculator uses Google Maps to calculate distances between addresses. Addresses you enter are sent to Google's API for processing and are not stored by us.
